Question on EED and Veteran's Death
If a claim for an earlier effective date is pending (submitted 60 days ago) and the veteran dies of a SC illness, if the EED is approved, is it awarded even though the veteran has died?

Yes--If a claim for death benefits including accrued is filed---and the EED is granted --it would affect the amount of accrued awarded.
